ELI – German Language and Culture Center
The aim of the German Language and Culture Center is to make the German language and culture known in Georgia.
Learning German means a great opportunity to do an apprenticeship in Germany, to advance professionally and to build a successful career.
Our goal is to make the German language desirable for Georgian young people, to arouse their interest in this language and to show what can be achieved by mastering the German language.
The German Language and Culture Center offers German intensive courses. The course aims to improve German language skills according to the levels set by the European Framework of Reference. It offers materials on the history of the country, everyday realities, values, traditions, morals, and socio-cultural peculiarities of the German-speaking area.
Furthermore, the courses offer various modules to expand linguistic competence and to develop one’s own speaking skills, which enable deepening in the desired direction.

Specialized German language courses
The aim of the course is to enable the participants of the course to communicate successfully in the professional field while taking technical vocabulary into account, to develop their understanding and understanding of technical texts in German and English and to speak technical topics correctly and fluently.
The course also provides for active participation in discussions on various current topics, taking into account the professional interests of language learners, which facilitate their successful communication in professional or other fields.
After completing the course and passing the exam, a certificate will be issued
Obtaining a certificate in German according to the Common European Framework of Reference
The exam is carried out in two stages
Level I – Written exam
Level II – Oral Exam
The exam costs 220 GEL.
It is also possible to take the exam externally.
