Especially for Georgia, where wine tourism is well developed, it is of great importance to have professionals with adequate qualification and competitiveness in the field.

Georgia is known as one of the oldest viticulture and winemaking centers with a 7,000 years of  history. The history of vine culture is closely linked to the history of the Georgian nation.

Georgian culture always showed a special love to vines and winemaking. This love defined the creative nature, social contacts and hospitality of the Georgian people.

The world importance and uniqueness of the ancient Georgian traditional method of pitcher wine
(kvevri wine) is included in the list of UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Wine marketing and management, along with traditional research, is a professional field that promotes wine tourism and promotes career prospects for young people.

We work closely with various German or Georgian companies, allowing our students to practice in Georgia as well as in Germany.
